How To Take Tolvaptan Lupin

About
Tolvaptan Lupin

Tolvaptan Lupin is a medicine used for the treatment of Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). It works by blocking the effects of vasopressin which slows down the rate at which cyst grow.

Because of the way Tolvaptan Lupin works, the patient is likely to experience thirst, an increased amount of urine and/or increased frequency of urination, including at night. Encourage them to talk to their healthcare team to understand how to best manage these side effects.
